Anh ca Duy and Anh ca Hieu came from Ho Chi Minh to renew their visas. I haven't seen either one of them in quite a while and was really surprised when Anh ca Duy walked into the Branch 6 building for English class. "You lost quite a bit of weight," I said. "Those pants look like something Anh ca Hoa Minh would wear." He got a silly grin on his face and replied, "They are Anh ca Hoa Minh's!"
Later in the week I tried to go find some less actives in a place called Dat Moi (cross on the D, hat on the a with a sac, hook on the o also with a sac), but it was all flooded, so we had to explore the alleys by boat. (For those of you thinking that missionaries aren't allowed to use boats, the water was shallow enough that I would have biked or walked through it, but I'm apparently the only sister up for that kind of thing.) It was lots of fun, and the girl who owned the boat was Vietnamese, so we told her about god while we were all in the boat together and she couldn't get away. Hehe!
I am so glad to be here on a mission. It's amazing!
